Farm Walks - Yes of course, you could stay here on the farm. Pick up a map from the dining room and try one of our self directed Farm Walks. We have wildlife ponds and lakes & woodland to explore and our own Stone Circle (homemade) all with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside.


Hestercombe House - 7 miles. As featured on BBC's 'Gardens Through Time'. Arguably the best example of Gertrude Jekyll & Sir Edward Lutyens work. A wonderful formal garden with beautiful stonework, rills, an Orangery & pergola plus 40 acres of woodland walks with temple, amazing cascades & breathtaking views of the Blackdown Hills and around.
Halswell House - ½ a mile away. Glorious Georgian Grade 1 listed property and parkland situated in Goathurst. http://www.halswell.co.uk/


Enmore Golf Club - 2 miles away. Set within open farmland and woodland, gently undulating course with excellent support & hospitalities.

Durleigh Reservoir - 2.5 miles. FISHING, SAILING, WINDSURFING. The oldest Wessex reservoir, formerly a trout fishery. Over 80 acres of course fishing from the bank side. Also home to a wide range of waders, waterfowl and woodland species.


Coleridge Way Walk - 7 miles. 36 mile walk from Nether Stowey (one time home to poet Samuel Coleridge) to Porlock Weir


Jazz at Bar 27 Bridgwater - (4.5 miles) Great musicians & relaxed friendly atmosphere. Jam session evenings & bands alternating weeks - Thursday nights
