Beef
We have a small herd of British White cattle - dating back to 1400's, they were the first registered pedigree herd in England!
British Whites are very pretty, gentle white cows with black noses, ears & socks.
Being a traditional breed, they like to take their time to mature. The beef will be certified as organic (with the Soil Association) in September 2007 and we already feed them on a natural, home-grown diet - there are no GMO's - ever (we think they are very, very bad) and all the beef has full traceability.

The cows spend all spring & summer grazing on the lush pasture in the clover meadows here at Huntstile; theyget a bit chilly in the winter so we bring them indoors on straw beds and feed them on homegrown hay and silage cut from the clover meadows, oats & barley, they like that. Because the cattle are well farmed and the meat is hung for just over three weeks, we produce marvelous flavoursome, tender beef of the very best quality.
